I don't mind if it's actually "tactical" (kind of dubious about how this word is used in marketing) but I'm sick of seeing it everywhere and printed on everything. I feel like cringing every time someone says it.

"Awww yeah that's the new ----- with TACTICAL GRIPS!!!!! The gun practically holds itself! No hands needed for operation, that's how tactical it is!"

^^As far as I can tell this is the general direction firearms marketing is headed in.

I've always thought "tactical" is what you do...not a description of your weapon, clothing, car, dog, or anything else.
