    Springfield Armory M6 Scout?

Is the Springfield Armory M6 Scout Ca legal? I think it qualifies as a rifle.

Does anyone have experience with them? Fun? Quality?

Awesome rifles, good quality, great for survival gear, no longer in production.

Is their a NFA issue on this gun?

If its the .22 Hornet its a center fire and I think that would be a problem in CA

If its the .22lr is their a barrel length requirement?

I can't see whats illegal about them as the minimum OAL is 26" for rifles and shotguns, otherwise guns like the chipmunk (29") would be Illegal on a federal level much less a state level.

They are great little guns and make great backpack guns. If you don't care about the shotgun, you could always get an AR7, but the M6 is built a heck of a lot better. They made them both Parkerized steel and stainless.

As others mentioned, they have been out of production for a while, so the only way you are going to find one at this point is one that someone else has that is willing to sell....

                  Good luck....
