advice needed for gun purchase

i have a chance to get a sw990l (a mini 9mm)for 350 or a sw40ve for 379.what would your choice be and why? also are those good prices

The .40 is alittle high in price. The up side is it was such a rip off on the glock. Glock got s&w to stop making it. So no jaming problems. Good gun long trigger pull. Keep looking I see them here 250 to 290. Good luck enjoy the new toy witch evey way you go.

i have the sw40ve. the long trigger pull is hard to get use to. it shoots fine. there is really no easy fix for a trigger job for it. look at the other. also it goes on sale usually for $329.00 at turners.

for that price, I'd get a S&W M&P Shield

in 9mm about $399 available in October


or get a Glock 19


at the prices you listed, there are better choices available to you


one gun that is not very popular, but is supposed to be pretty good is the Walther PPQ, but I'd stick with the Shield or G19/G17 due to ease of finding accessories, parts, holsters, etc.
