Marlin 336s are just as good as a Winchester 94, and usually cheaper.
I've never heard of a .45 ACP lever gun, but there may be one. They are available in most revolver calibers though, ie 38/357, 44special/44mag, and 45 long Colt. The Marlins were also made in .35 Remington, which is like a bigger version of .30-30. Then there is .444 Which is a lengthened .44 Magnum.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

Good luck finding one in that price range. About the only thing in that range are Henry rimfire levers.

Major lever gun makers include Marlin, Henry, Italians (Uberti, etc.), and a few others have one or two models. I don't know of any .45ACP models, but you can definitely get .357Mag and .44 models.

I have a 1943 '94 in .32 Winchester Special. Love the gun, ammo is just crazy expensive and hard to find....

If you're just looking for a plinker then I would recommend finding an older Marlin in 38/.357mag.

Ammo is the least expensive next to a .22 where if you're not stuck on a 94 but want a .22LR, I'd look at a Hanry Golden Boy or Marlin 39a

I do have two Marlin 1894's in Stainless Steel in both the .38/.357mag and the .44/.44mag.

Seems that I recal that the reproduction 94s are not that great. 73s, 66s, and 92 clones seem more widely used in that order. Then there are the truly modern lever guns...

Personally never seen a 45acp, but why not think about 45LC a fun powerful round that is easy to reload.

Nice '94. I have a 1937, also in .32 WSPL. The local gun store in Yuma carries the ammo. I think it runs about $30-$35 a box. I love shooting that thing, especially after putting on a recoil pad, but try not to shoot it too much.

How did Winchester miss this list

.45 ACP isn't practical in a lever action. They head space on the case mouth so a friction fit is necessary for the bullet. This could potentially cause bullet movement during recoil in the tube magazine creating dangerous pressures in the rounds.

I have a '94 in .44 magnum. It is one of my favorite guns to shoot.

I have a few '94s in 30-30 and one in 25-20. '94s have been offered in many, many different chambers over the years.
