Zero. CA has gone around the bend, will never throw the towel in until SCOTUS issues a final, clear slapdown -- as in criminal prosecution of anti politicians who try to deny Americans a clearly defined civil right under the BOR.

      Somewhat less than zero?

True wealth is time. Time to enjoy life.

Life's journey is not to arrive safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy schit...what a ride"!!

CA will never stop until they have total non rich citizen disarmament. The SCOTUS will never rule meaningfully against anti-gun laws. 20,000+ anti-gun laws will never be swept away. They may void tiny parts of some laws, but nothing major. The original intent of the 2A was gutted by Miller in 1939. The 1st Federal anti-gun law has been in effect for almost 100 years. The landmark Sullivan Law has been in effect since 8/31/1911.

It depends on the odds of a statewide emergency. Disasters have a way of changing peoples' minds on gun control, gruesome as that is.

The 1911 may have been in wars for 100 years, but Masetro Bartolomeo Beretta was arming the world 400 years before John Browning was ever a wet dream.

Talk on the local news last night was that Stockton is going to try and ban firearms within city ordinance. They are tired of all the homicides.

So no, I do not think California will turn around on gun rights, but I hope I am wrong.

It's only going to evolve when the economy turns around. This kind of shift requires a combination of macro factors in the long term. It doesn't happen overnight.

                I'm not a math expert

But the answer to your question about CA changing it's stance

Is ZERO X ZERO, carry the ZERO = ZERO

As far as being forced to change by some outside influence, such as SCOTUS

My feeling is that it is unlikely

Unless Obama puts Harris on SCOTUS, then were all screwed.

Less than zero as long as the bit coastal cities run the state.

No I'm. Sure there are gun nuts in the cities too, gun owners just need to vote.

                            Many of them do.

Before the laws change, we need citizen voters who don't want more gun laws (or, to keep the existing ones) and who would therefore vote for politicians who would follow that direction.

I haven't seen any large-scale pro-gun change in voter attitudes or the kinds of politicians who get elected in the 20 years I've been in CA. A bit of the opposite, actually.

Haha, with 67% devoted to worship of Obammy and the democrat party, the chance is none. Thank you for playing.
