Out of your arsenal (I mean collection) which centerfire gun do you have the most rounds through?

    How many? (Roughly)

Have you had to replace any parts?

    Has accuracy tapered off?

Ever figure the cost of the ammo you've shot?

Sig P226R I purchased brand new at the beginning of the year.

    1500rds all trouble free

Still as accurate now then it was during the first couple hundred rounds.

Cost in ammo considering a 1000 were in reloads probably about $170+/-

I have no idea how many rounds, I'm not sure I can count that high

Glock 22. I'm going to say it is closing in on the 20K mark, if it hasn't already. Still as accurate as the day I bought. I try not the think of the amount of $$$ I've sent downrange.

            (2) Ruger Vaquero 45LC's. As for count, well over 4,000 at least and not a single issue with either one.

Sig 226, got it in 1990, heavy use for a decade or so, probably between 3,000 and 5,000 trouble free rounds.

With the mag out and empty, it rattles a bit if you shake it, but with a loaded mag, it does not. I refinished the slide maybe 15 years ago, hard chrome, and the night sights are about dead.

Still goes bang every single time.

Several thousands of rounds through an 1911 .45 followed by a AR-15. I used them in 3-Gun competitions. Changed the recoil spring in the 1911 and haven't changed anything in the AR. Didn't notice any difference really.

I've got a Systema Colt that I used in USPSA matches in the early 80's, it probably has at least 200,000 rounds through it. I've changed all the springs three times, barrel twice, trigger and sear a couple of times, disconnector, sights, MSH, bushings, firing pin, fp keeper, etc.

I think that the grip bushings, frame and slide are original.

We used to bulk buy lead bullets in 50K lots, 8 Lb kegs of W-231 and primers by the case.

Technically my BCM AR at 5k or 6k no FTF/FTE.. But not sure if that counts being more than half being 22 lol

And then my Glock 17 with about 3k+

No parts replaced on either the AR swapped uppers after 600 and went middy then put the 5k through that..

Accuracy still the same never really tested either to know for sure..

And I'd say about roughly about $2k through both haha

AR-15, bought in 1996, used reasonably well when I got it (made in 1986). I've added something like 15,000 rounds. Wore out the GI trigger, one GI 30-round magazine, and a Bushnell Holosight eventually failed. Barrel is still running strong and grouping pretty well. Never had a problem with the gas system or the bolt.

I also have a Marlin Model 70 with about 50,000 rounds down the pipe, bought in 1993, loan it out frequently at Appleseeds. Broke the trigger guard (don't we all) and a firing pin, and currently it's still down awaiting a new bolt.

Abouts 4,000 rounds through my AR. I upgraded my bolt group to a Fail Zero after the first 1500 rounds or so. No cleaning done, just lightly wiping the bolt on rare occasion. Zero malfunctions. Gas system is midlength. Buffer system was changed to a Vltor A5 at around 3,500 rounds. Rifle functions even better.
