The Highest FFL Fees You've Seen ?

As per title, im trying to create a limited benchmark for what dealers charge for FFL transfer fees. I ask because despite living in a pro-gun state a lot of dealers here charge north of $50. One big box place charges $60 for a weapon transfer , and IMO there's no material justification for the cost besides general profit motive in this state. There is nearly no local laws on weapon purchases outside of Federal restrictions.

In a state like California a dealer can state that due to the state DROS requirements and background check paperwork that they have to charge a lot for the transaction, which got me thinking-if FFL transfers can cost $50 in a "free state", just how bad is the damage in a high-regulation environment like California?

In PRK, the highest I've seen was $100, and the lowest I verified was $15.

Outside PRK, I purchased a pistol from a GB dealer and had the FFL send it to my brother at Fort Rucker, and the transfer fee was $35.

The median rate for transfers in PRK seems to be between $45 and $55 respectively.

I think Ammo Bros in Cerritos charges 50 bucks plus DROS etc... with 25-30 bucks worth of shipping its about 100 bucks.

Not sure what is up with them...a year ago they where $65. Now $150.

Looks like they may have stopped doing SSE also.

                      What's the big deal?

That's what it costs them to remain profitable and in business. Does it surprise people that prices have gone up?
Be real folks... The economy sucks and FFLs need to stay in business and pay their folks. It'll only get more expensive when all the taxes and penalties of 0bamacare kick in.

IIRC, Bullseye in San Rafael is $150. Not sure if that includes DROS fee.

+1 on Bullseye in San Rafael. When I called around they were by far the most expensive at $150. If I remember correctly Triple A Sporting Goods in Vallejo was the next highest at $125.
