Heavy duty web belt and drop leg holster?

Need some ideas for a good drop leg holster and duty belt.......what do you guys use or recommend?......any info or links would be great. I have big legs not sticks thx in advance.

Safariland all the way my friend, nearly impossible to go wrong with them. I have around 6, different models/finishes. Awesome system, quality gear, and very durable.

use with a first line/war belt? look into these if you haven't already

I'd recommend the 6354 if you don't require heavy retention (ALS only, no hood). The 6304 if you require heavy retention (ALS + hood). I'd generally recommend the 6354 if possible, the hood hangs up on the occasional draw IME.

I'm not a fan of the buckled versions unless you like to run your holsters low on the thigh or need to run multiple pistols.

If running a drop, DEFINITELY get one that allows for a light on your pistol. I like the TLR-1 (basic light, nothing else), though people I know that have it as well as the X-300 prefer the Surefire over the Streamlight. I am NOT a fan of the pressure switch/middle finger activation AT ALL.

Consider also WHY you're using a drop over a waist mounted holster as it's easier to protect from grabs when it's on your waist IMO.

Regardless, plastic buckles are pretty light and reliable, but Cobra buckles are very, very nice. I'd spend a bit more and go with Cobra buckles if you have the money for them.
