Gun carry on a motorcycle

Anyone know if you can legally carry a rifle while riding a motorcycle in Cali??? I have several friends that have asked me that question

To keep from garnering unwanted attention, use a disguised bag. Use something like a pool cue bag or a duffle. Lock the zippers together with a lock in case you happen to unknowingly pass through a school zone.

Get a voodoo rifle bag. It has straps so you can wear it like a back pack on the bike.
