    Portable shooting bench

I've been checking portable shooting benches out. Natchez had three on special from $75-100. I could use one of these.....

Anybody got any experiences with these things? Seems like it'd be a handy item to have. Howzabout a recommendation on which one to buy?

You have a link so we can see them?

      Error message

When I click on that link, it goes to Natchez, but all it says is this:

There was a problem attempting to execute your search request. Please try again.

I tried entering the item # in the search window, and the same error message came up. I even tried clicking on the 'stands' link in the column on the left and it comes back with nothing as well. I must be doing something wrong, but I don't know what it is.

It comes out that way too when I clicked the link but you can type protable shooting bench on the search function. I believe the thread starter was looking at these benches.

Yup, that's it! One of these would be pretty handy. It's hard for me to believe that any of these are as solid as a good prone or real bench rest position, but I've been wrong before! I was hoping somebody knew about this stuff and could enlighten me.

None of them are really solid and shift with your weight. Saying that, I own and shoot off of the third one all the time and have a pretty good hit ratio out past 400 yards. It's a good compromise of weight and stability.

Here it is with my daughter shooting off of it:

                How small?

How small does that thing fold up? It looks pretty cool.

Looks an awful lot like Panoche Hills!

Thanks for the info, that was the one I was thinking of ordering. Natchez has them on sale for $75.

I'm just worried that the feet would start to sink in if the groud is soft or wet?

Just bring a few pieces of plywood, like 3/4" x 6" x 6" and put them under the legs.
