Does less freedom = More violence?

So there were two violent actions (OK, one was plotted but not executed), in the last couple days.

The first one was a guy who was denied by the city to set up his business because they didn't like the name of his bar. He planned to kill dozens of people but changed his mind and turned himself in.

The second one is a guy who got fed up with city hall (I read that they had issued him 150 tickets and were suffocating him with red tape).

Is this a sign of people lashing out against incompetent bureaucratic government? Perhaps with the economy winding down, and the continued cronyism and overreaching arm of Big.Gov we have only seen the tip of the iceberg...

Is this country reaching that point where the 2nd amendment will soon come into play?

"War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives. Only a small 'inside' group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes."

Nobody likes the idea of big brother trying to keep us down, either through its actions or inactions. And I for one, am uneasy at the idea of having to employ my second amendment rights against a gov't I currently fully support. Hopefully the winds of change are upon us, and smarter thinking will prevail if such a thing does come to pass. But I do not for one second think that I will shirk from the fight if the time does come where I must vote from the rooftops. I sympathize with both of the guys who got screwed over by the local gov't's from their perspective cities. But I do not condone what they did. There are always other avenues to choose than violence. Violence should only come as a last resort. For one guy, he could have avoided the whole issue by merely changing the name of his proposed business. For another, if it is decided he was in the wrong, he could have just manned up and payed his fines. While this is the land of the free and the home of the brave, certain rules must be set down, enforced, and abided to by the general population if we are not to fall into anarchy. Once this fall into anarchy happens, then we are no better than the gov't we are trying to change.
