Surefire M951 Question - System disable?

I've had one of these for a while and never really thought about it, but I see a "system disable feature" discussed that is supposed to deactivate the tape switch and the push button to prevent accidental lighting. Any tips? I feel dumb even asking.
I do believe that, where there is only a choice between cowardice and violence, I would advise violence... I would rather have India resort to arms in order to defend her honour than that she should, in a cowardly manner, become or remain a helpless witness to her own dishonor. -- Mahatma Ghandi

I think "system disable feature" means unscrew the tailcap several turns without removing it.

there was a special cap that you could turn to a spot that the button would not work in...but I don't think the M951 came with that. It came on the M4 and P9/ P9 series.
