Selling in NorCal

I have just received orders OCONUS. I have a significant amount of pre-WW2 firearms. I inherited them from my grandfather when he passed away and have maintained them for over 15 years. I would like to reduce the size of my collection dramatically so that I only have enough weapons to fill my safe, so I can store it while out of country. Can I legally sell these rifles, muskets and carbines openly to anyone willing to buy? Or does the great republic here require me to fill out massive amounts of paperwork to do so legally?
My collection spans from 1756-1945.

Any handguns or long guns manufactured before 1899 are exempted from both California and federal requirements to be transfered through an FFL.

Any long guns manufactured more than 50 years ago are exempt from California's FFL transfer requirements, but federal law still requires FFL transfer if going between residents of two different States.

Handguns manufactured after 1898 are required by California law to be transfered through an FFL. Federal law also requires FFL transfer if going between residents of two different States.

Black powder muzzle loaders are exempt from both California and federal FFL transfer requirements no matter when they were manufactured.
