Old Colt SAA new to me

Thanks Chris Bright spot,,,I got this from them last week..
It was made in 1883 in 44 center fire AKA 44-40..Chris told me it was reberraled in 38 spl in or around 1920-1930? I still haven`t shot it but only because I don`t have any low power 38 loaded yet, Just a matter of time..

    INTERESTING!

The kind of old Colt with so much character that one can marvel at it for hours.

If its made before 1900's I believe you need to shoot black powder rounds.

You`ll right abought that, but low power 38 spl are ok,so everyone tells me. I`m going to drop it off tonight at the SASS local Gunsmith here in town so he can take it all apart and clean it and I`ll let him decide if I need to load some BP`s up or not.
