Just put my OLL together..I used a CMMG. Ok quality, but the trig and hammer springs seem...well weak. look thin...but my good luck was an extra hammer spring, bolt spring and two roll rins....which means...
for the guy with the bad kit.
I will keep the springs and also buy a repair kit from BM or RRA...cuz I bet I'm going to need it after 1000 or so.
Over all was easy, its only my 3rd build and the other two were RRA kits. Roll pins were very tight, nearly too tight, and I did a SLIGHT squeeze job on the front trigger guard pin.
Disconnector seems...well overly strong as in I may double fire or even more till the edges are wore. Yes the spring is in corretly...I goofed that up the other two times. When holding the trigger back it takes a heck of alot of force to engage the hammer/disconnector catch..we will see.
Hammer is solid looking, as are the takedown pins, and trigger...doesnt look like they cheaped out there.
Overall I would rate a CMMG LKP as a good buy, for a low cost build.
total time to build was 1.5 hours. Now I just need that MMG so I can bring this into CA.....
