I ordered some ammo online at Sportsman's Guide tonight. Checkout was smooth and easy. An hour after purchase I get an email saying they won't ship to me. Since when are we not allowed to buy ammo and have it shipped in?

I ordered a bunch of ammo from Cabelas about a year ago and had no problems.

Where do you live. SG has some pretty strange shipping policies. I can't get ammo shipped to me in Sacramento, but I could get it shipped to a friend of mine in Elk Grove (Less than 5 miles away)

A couple (at least) mail-order companies track by zip code where they may and may not ship stuff that is locally restricted. My own zip code is for Sacramento, however, I am not a resident of Sacramento City at all and it's easily provable and would stand up in any court of law. Because of the way they do their tracking, they won't ship stuff to me.
