Some publicity for Prop H on Live 105 this AM

I hate morning radio programs and if I weren't so burned out on my iPod I wouldn't be listening. 105.3 Live105 in the SF Bay area was having a discussion this AM on how stupid prop H was. I was very impressed to see the entire morning show staff and tons of callers were bashing prop H. Sometimes I listen to Alice 97.3 and No Name is pretty ticked about prop H too. But I think the show is very left leaning so it's hard to listen for more than 20 minutes.

As far as I'm concerned the best morning show is still Mark and Brian down in LA.

Nice. I know No Name's kind of a mix of both liberal and conservative, I'm a little surprised to see him all over this, but I'm much more surprised to hear about Live 105 bashing it. Not living in SF, I didn't realise there was so many people over there against Prop H.

Prop H passed because we were not able to get the ones who opposed to H to go and vote. At the cow palace gun show last year, there were several gun owners who came up to us and said the prop would never pass, shaking their heads. I doubt they voted against H, being so sure it would never have a chance of passing. I think the voter turnout was 60% of registered voters.

It was probably more like a 42 to 42 split, and unfortunately, as with all voting, those remaining 16% are plain idiots...stupid idiots that should not vote anyways because they just check off whatever in the box they think may go with popular sentiment (liberal in SF)...

I have had the experience with friends (especially women) who know nothing about guns (never shot, or are afraid) have a moment of clarity (hallelujah!) upon shooting a gun for the first time.

nah, i think it was more apathy from parts of the city and other parts were able to get the majority of the votes. those parts being the ones that had their stupidvisors pushing the vote.

ugh...i have some female friends that absolutely refuse to have anything to do w/guns. hell...they won't even come inside my place anymore. lol. no big...more air for me to breathe.
