Have a couple guns I want to get engraved. Colt 1911 and .357 Lever action. They also need to be re blued, so my question is should I have them engraved or re blued first?

Once a firearm is engraved, it'll need to be refinished. So, engraved first. If you blue first then engrave the firearm, you'll have to refinish it again. -
To do the engraving the engravor will first strip the bluing off the area to be engraved.Frank
