    background check

This may get complicated and is NOT my situation but I was wondering....if a person had charges press on them but a few years later ends up getting a job and had to go through background and nothing showed up, does that mean the charges was never actually made and/ or does that mean that person can buy a firearm?

The private company background check probably isn't as in-depth as the CA and NICS one...

If you watch the forum there has been a huge increase of people's DROS being delayed due to old arrests, even if they where not convicted.

When in doubt have a PFEC done
Personal Firearms Eligibility Check Program What is a Personal Firearms Eligibility Check? What information is required for a Personal Firearms Eligibility Check (PFEC)? How much does the PFEC cost? How do I find a Notary Public? How long will it take to get the results of my PFEC? What records are checked to determine the results of my PFEC? Under what conditions is someone considered ineligible to possess and/or purchase firearms? Will the PFEC results include information about my criminal history?

Charges mean nothing. Only convictions can prevent firearms ownership when it comes to crimes.

Restraining orders an 5150 holds are another thing.

Technically, but CADOJ can delay your DROS past the 30 Day window if they want...
