Can you have a FFL for Personal use?

Other than for class 3(curio & Relic collector), I believe there are business requirements(and tons of fees) to obtain any level of FFL.
You could probably set your home up as your place of business and just claim you are having trouble attracting customers. But unless you have a fat inheritance or plump executive paycheck, it just isn't worth the hassle and the buttload of legal fees you have to pay on a semi-annual basis. -
You can get a Type 03-FFL (C&R collector) for personal use.
All other types of FFL, you must show that it is for business purposes.
If you get one for personal use, BATFE can revoke it.sigpic
