Noticed in a gun rag/mag that the SR9 is marking a "dawning of a new era" at Ruger! Hope the new era is like the old era when Bill Sr. was alive and Ruger was a great(er), more responsive company that stood behind lifetime warranties!

Maybe; but I could do without the limited mind-set of Bill Ruger, with a product-line of little more than copy-cat designs, and his opinions on regarding AR-15s, rifle magazines of more than 5-10 rounds, semi-auto rifles wtht pistol grips/folding stocks/flash-hiders, and an assortment of other firearm qualities he considered "criminal", and gun owners as irresponsible if their rifles had these virtues.

Bill Ruger Sr. had the opinion that standard capacity magazines were not necessary, and willingly spoke that crap.
Try to get most replacement parts from Ruger...rotsa ruck
