Can someone link me to a site that shows wether or not an FFL is required for gun purchase/transfer?

    Thanks

Could you clarify a bit? Are you refering to purchasing a private party firearm without facilitating the transfer through an FFL?
You think you know, but you have no idea.

The information posted here is not legal advice. If you seek legal advice hire an attorney who is familiar with all the facts of your case.

If you are a California resident and buying a gun from a shop in another State, or from a person who is a resident of another State, federal law would in general require that the transfer to you be done by an FFL. Because of the requirements of California law, it would have to be a California FFL, even in the case of a long gun. (In any case, federal law would require the transfer be done by an FFL in the transferee's State of residence for a handgun.)

          I should clarify:

I aware that as a Cali resident, i need to have a FFL to buy new guns and to transfer gun.

My question is: which states have the same regulations and which dont. I know some states dont require an FFL for transfer or some states only require FFL for handguns and not handguns. Just wondering if there was a list of states and their requirement for FFL when it comes to purchase and transfer

Its nice to be able to buy a gun in the walmart parking lot, then walk in and buy ammo, and hell maybe a colt at 15 while I'm at it. .
