    M1 carbine mag kits?

Do any of our sponsors (or anyone else ) sell mag kits for M1 carbines? I have a few that have been dented over the years and want to fix them/upgrade from 15 to 30 rounds.

You would have to find real GI 30rnd mag kits as the commercial 30rnd mags don't work worth beans...Unfortunately prices on real gi 30rnd mags run about $50 -$70 each....

From my reading the Triple K mags are supposed to be pretty good. Thats just the word on the internet.

You may also have to modify your mag catch to work with the 30 rounders. Not sure if it has something to do with the weight of the magazines working against the catch, or if it's an actual design change from the M1 to the M2 which the 30s were used with.

you don't modify the mag catch.. you just replace the current catch with a M2 catch....

My one 30 rounder fits and locks already, so it would appear to be done already.
