Christmas At Barnwood

Heck it seemed like Christmas down at Barnwood Arms. They got in 14 Kimber 1911 Pistols. I sure like to finger those fine firearms. They also got 4 Kimber Solo 9mm pistols, two of them had lasers. The bummer is those are LEO's, but they are fun to check out anyway. But, I've saved the best part for last. They got in 5 Les Baer 45 1911 pistols. Two of them have the 1 1/2" group guarantee at 50 yards !!!! And, they put one of the Les Baer pistols in their Rental Gun Case. So for $5.00 you can rent a $2,000.00 plus handgun ! Just thought my fellow handgunners might want to know. It's not everyday you get a chance to shoot one of those.

Emily doesn't work at Barnwood anymore. I guess she went on to other things. She is definitely a live wire!

I am a local and am lucky to have Barnwood in my backyard. If they lowered their prices just a bit they have the potential of being the best gunshop in the area

Spent my last dollar there 6 years ago.....stopped in in May to see if anything had changed. I was looking for upper for my daughters build and couldn't get anyone to give me the time of day.

The new rage looked nice.

I've always gotten good service there. Did a PPT there a few months back and they were fine, but their prices seem out of touch. Maybe they'd like to turn this new shipment over with some reasonable prices?

Yeah they are nice but a tad high.

I heard the new gun shop Elite Arms in Manteca was very reasonable.

I always hear people chime in on the Barnwood prices are too high bandwadgon, but no one ever gives specific items that they claim to be over priced compared to other brick and mortar retail stores. Anyone got any comparisons?
