Do FAL build parties exist?

I've seen AK build parties all over CA but do people ever do FAL build parties?? Every time i see a FAL parts kit it makes me want to build one but i wouldn't attempt it on my own.

You assemble an FAL, not really build them, All you need is a barrel wrench.

receiver wrench helps too. along with alignment tools. and the recoil spring tool. plus that damned extractor too. headspace gauges help also. so does precision stock to find your correct locking shoulder size.

Anyway, to the OP, I've never seen a FAL build party. Even back in the day. It's always been a solitary kinda thing....in the garage. no one sees. just you and your FAL....oh yeah.....oh........yeah

I'll look into Fal Files. Assembling is no problem but headspacing is something i've never done and probably wouldn't attempt alone for the first try. If its not done correctly i've heard it'll be bad.

Assembling.....hmm...most issues that arise seem to be barrel timing. Had to screw around with the ones I've built. Basically start with a good kit and a good receiver, and you'll be miles ahead. Headspacing isn't that big a deal, as long as you have a decent set of gauge pins. Clean the chamber, disassemble the extractor and pull the firing pin, flip her upside down, and start finding out what size pin works. Anyway, it's all on the files.
