    No wait at Turner's?

2 weekends in a row. After a long 3 months, my PX4 finally came in stock on 7/7. Down side is that they didn't call me, I just happened to call them and they had exactly 1. MINE!! I went in to start the DROS, took a number and was down to business less than a minute later.

Fast forward, my brother gets a call this past Saturday (7/14) that his M9 (we bought it the same day as my storm 3 months ago) is in. We go down and same story, walk in and there are literally no people waiting. I actually got to spend some time BSing about guns with a couple of the salesmen, which I normally try not to do if I'm not buying since the wait is usually long.

I would have expected a lot longer wait time on a Saturday, and was pleasantly shocked at the lack of one. We'll see how things look today when I go pick up my storm today.
It was not a threat. It was an exaggerated response to an uncompromising stance. I was taught never to make a threat unless you are prepared to carry it out and I am not a fan of carrying anything. Even watching other people carrying things makes me uncomfortable. Mainly because of the possibility they may ask me to help.

You got lucky with your timing.

If I'm buying a gun from them, I usually try to be there right when they open their doors. There's usually already a few guys waiting there too, but since Turner's usually has a few guys manning the gun counter everyone gets helped out. From my experience this is has always been the case any day of the week.

my son bought his Px4 on the 10th from Turners after waiting for them to restock...he went to the one in Norwalk and was out within 20 minutes, but according to the Sales Manager over there, they have a few hundred of them in stock now, mostly at their main distribution warehouse, although each store may have had limited ones on hand Norwalk didnt have any on the floor, my son still was able to order from their stock

congrats, you should be getting yours today

Congrats on both; the gun and no wait! I absolutely love my Px4. Accurate and reliable. What cal did you get? Enjoy!

Turners weekends or weekdays in the morning in the first hour are pretty empty.

Went with a friend to buy a new gun at Turner's last week and he was out the door in about 20 minutes.

Pasadena Turner's - short, round hispanic salesperson. Friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable enough.

I'd buy a gun from her.

I may have a heart attack and die! Went to pick up my Storm yesterday and the same thing happened. Walked in, grabbed a number, and was called within 5 minutes. Total time out of the house with traffic both ways was less than an hour.
