Butterfield Ranch ~shooting area?

I got a trip to Butterfield planed with a few friends and was wondering where around there can you shoot? One of the guys says he was out there shooting like 30 miles north, but not sure exactly where. We *might* also have some tanerite to play with and I was wondering if there is any area that is friendly?
