Saw a scope I have never seen today!

Friend and I went to shot at our desert spot, two other guys were there shooting at a steel chest silhouette target. I am not sure how far away the target was, but had to be at least 600+
they were shooting what looked to be an AR of some kind. This guy was nailing this thing over and over again!
Long story short when they were packing up we rolled in and talked for a second. I asked what were you shooting? AR the one guy replied,
I could see it had a scope on it that looked like the Burris .223. So I asked is that a Burris? Guy laughed and looked at his friend and said its a new Primary 5x
Anyone ever heard of it?

Just watched the video and that was the guy shooting!
It said 3x not 5x on the link am I not seeing it? Just got off the phone and my friend confirmed it was a Primary Arms 5 power scope. He googled as well and did not find anything! All I see is 3x

IIRC, they made a 4x that looked similar, which has since been supplanted by their newer 3x. There was never a 5x as far as I know.

It was the guy in the video and he said Primary Arms 5x laughed for some reason either way I have never seen someone hit targets like that 600+ away using .223

Regardless, if there is a PA 5x like that, it's not available for purchase yet.

Burris does make a 5x though, which is sold through PA:

been looking at their 1x4 for a while to put on my ar. i have their red dot micro on my 10/22 and its fun to shoot.

really? i do that with irons fairly easy. i have the micro tech rear sight with the 600 yd elevation and plink metal all day long with that and my simmons 4-12 scope. it really isnt that hard to do with the 223.
