reeds is 20 mins away, much more worth it.

if you must go to TM... ah, where to start... horrible staff - they are underpaid kids that dont know jack, they arent helpful or friendly, but they seriously get paid like $9 an hour and their boss has very high expectations. the other shooters - underpaid kids that dont know jack, large groups of people playing pranks on each other on the firing line and turning around for pictures and what not, i normally end up with extra holes in my target when i go there. the range itself sucks; its cold, run down, dirty, the hangers sometimes dont work...

I agree with the others, you should go to Reed's. TM is a haven for punks who want pictures. I have been there three times and every time I've went, I have been muzzle swept at least 3 times by some snot nose punk posing for his FB photo. The staff in my opinion shouldn't even be allowed to work around nerf guns, let alone the real thing. The owner is an idiot to say the least, he walks around there with his chest pumped out like he's king ****. I have shoes tougher than that guy.

I hate Target Masters, but let's not all get crazy about their safety issues. Besides the people that killed themselves at TM, I've never heard of anyone accidentally getting shot there. So if you must go to TM, then go and have fun. Just try to ignore the employees.

TM's not that bad. I've been going there for many years. They just remodeled their shooting lanes. It only costs about $8 an hour during the week to shoot at TM. Reed's is a great range, probably the best I've ever been to but its pricey to shoot there.

^^^ I also agree, but also understand the complaints with this range. The only times I seen unsafe practices is usually at night. But during the day it proves a different story, a few times I been in there some of the morning staff express there concern in how the night staff lacks the customer service and attention to detail. But then again what shops does not have there pros and cons. And this can be dependent on the person your asking. Good luck and enjoy your date!

Not all of the staff is incompetent, I've noticed over the last few years I've been shooting there a turnover in employees but a few consistent faces. The scary thing is what I've dubbed " The date crowds" . date night can be unnerving at Target Masters. I've seen the ceiling shot and dudes trying to show out, it is irritating. I seldom go in evenings anymore.

I love to see new people coming into the sport experimenting trying something new etc but I don't like loaded guns pointed at my chest nor do I want to be a witness to an accidental shooting.

It sure is hard to beat those happy hour prices at TMW

I get it that it only takes one bad experience to turn you off to any place. So far I have not seen anything at TM as awful as some here have. I just watch whats going on around me and hope for the best. Mostly nice people working there whenever I go there. Good variety of rentals to try out too.

Reeds seems infinitly better based on the website alone. The reason for TM is the later hours since we both work late.
