Arrived at 6:45, over an hour before closing, buyer drove all the way from Santa Cruz, and after the two employees kicked us back and forth to each other for 20 minutes they said they don't have time to do it...even offered an extra $50 if one would stay after to do the paperwork and was told that they would get in trouble?

What would the DOJ say about this? I was under the impression that gun stores are required by law to do PPT's?

They are required but some stores may have certain days/times when they process PPT's. Just be glad you didn't go to Target Masters. For $10, some stores make it a hassle. Just make sure you find a store and call them about their times prior to meeting with the buyer/seller.

Is this Bullseye in San Rafael? Yeah they take long on PPT. They need at least an hour or so. Will never do transaction ever again. I always go to Triple A. 10 mins tops!!!

Bullseye in Castro Valley? Yeah, I found out the hard way. I showed up and was waiting for the seller to show. Talked to the guy behind the counter at 4:45 and told him why I was there, he replied "Great, when he shows let me know and we will get it done." The guy shows 10 minutes later. We grabbed a counter guy who looked at us like we should know something and tells us they stop PPT at 4:30 on the dot because of the computer they use. WTF! I spoke with the other guy at 4:45 and he said we were good to go! This guy tells me if I don't like it go somewhere else. How do you respond to that? His business, his rules. My money, my decision. We went somewhere else with no problems.

You're right I waited 10 weeks for my paperwork to come back for the suppressor I put on my H&K Mark 23 a few months ago.
