I havent bought a gun in almost 2 years, i have a mini collection that spans most guns, from a r700 sniper rifle to AR15, m14, gsg5, glock27, and my favorite gun kimber 1911...i have a few others as well but they are "beater" guns that i rarely use and are for SHTF scenarios to arm my family lol..
Anyways, i have caught the itch again. Im leaning towards picking up a new ar15 with higher end components that ive always wanted, a p556 sig saur swat "pistol", and i need a new pistol preferably in 9mm or a smaller caliber for plinking and carrying around the range, since the 1911 is uncomfortable to carry.
I think the rule is one handgun every month? i cant seem to remember...

1. AR15 with either LWRC, noveske, BCM, VLTOR, or other nice parts. My current AR15 is nice but its a stag upper/lower with eotech and some magpul parts...i want something nicer with an aimpoint and other "tacticool" stuff..im gonna strip the stag back to stock and use it as a backup AR15 for family members and plinking.
2. Need a smaller caliber pistol. Thinking about sig sauer 9mm since they are all over private sales and they sell .22 conversion kits which is a plus. But really have zero idea where to go here. i need something to carry around my 20 acre property without worrying about scratching or some other safequeen paranoia that i feel with my kimber, really hate seeing a 1400 pistol sitting in a pile of hay. id rather have my 45 for nightstand duty...need a "ranch" pistol..
3. always wanted a sig p556. its one of my dream guns. but california laws suck...so im trying to find more info on how to purchase one legally. got a tip on a gun store but its in wisconsin and i gotta pay shipping, etc. where can i buy one locally in nothern california that is already modded to be CA compliant.
