    1903 Pocket Hammer 38

Hi, I'm new to the forum so hopefully it is ok to post this here.

I'm trying to find out what type of interest is out there for this handgun?
What type of price range are they going for?

It is in fairly decent condition, however most of the bluing is worn away.
Has one magazine, serial number places it's manufacture date in 1915.

Welcome to Calguns. I'd post your question in the handgun or C&R section. You could check out what they sell for on GunBroker. I've got a .32 Hammerless & a .25 vest pocket Colt. They are neat guns.

I know I'm interested and have been looking for a good one at a decent price for some time. BTW:

People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.

If you are describing a pocket .38 automatic with 20% bluing left you are probably in the range of $400 with a nice bore and uncracked grips. I sold a mint pocket auto .38 several years ago for $800. Condition is everything for these.

This is the one that brought $800. Exceptionally nice shape but had a 20lb trigger pull and very snappy recoil (yes I was shooting .38 auto and not .38 super).
