Huh, imagine that. I'm sure when they dropped the "Gun Search" thier profits dropped dramaticaly. I don't think these Yahoos (pardon the pun) get the fact that the Firearm Industry is a huge money making industry.

Nope. Still doesn't work on my laptop, but I noticed that it never stopped working on my iPad. He probably used a tablet and then switched to his computer. Sucks. You had me all excited!

I couldn't pull up firearms stuff a couple days ago. I read on the NRA facebook about this situation, and a bunch of people were saying they were switching there home broswer.

Just tried searching for 1911 magazines here, no dice. I've gotten used to Bing shopping in the past few days and it works just as well as Google shopping did, so even if this is a hoax and Google hasn't relented it doesn't make too big a difference to me.

Google basically use a stupid methods...they block all search related to the name of manufactures such as Springfield or Colt.

But by doing so, they also blocked a number of none firearms related products. Certainly there are more than guns which named after Springfield or Colt.

so they probably lose a lot of money by doing this.

For people saying they are getting results, are you comparing to a search you did "before" the new policy. I used google shopping enough before that i can compare to what i'm getting now. Although i get some hits on a few search terms, most of the content that used to pop up is gone now. Google shopping used to be pretty awesome.

Since no vendors have reported getting a new message of a decision reversal, i wouldn't get your hopes up yet. I think google is still shutting down guns & ammo on google shopping.

I never used Bing shopping before, but it's working for guns & ammo. Search bing shopping for "Remington 1911 stainless" and you get hits for all the online stores that have it and what the price is. It's almost as good as google shopping was. Switching to bing now!

Now if google doesn't reverse and reinstate soon, then i'm going to have to go through the hassle of dropping my gmail account. Dumb google can go someplace very warm if I have to do that.

Try this bing shopping search on "45 acp 230" which will give you an xtensive listing of 230 grain 45 acp ammo which you can find good low prices easily...

Google shopping with the new policy is worthless and I've already taken action to switch my default search engine to Bing!
