The Gun Range (north Sac) - First Look!

Dropped by The Gun Range this morning @ 7. They open at 9 but they were kind enough to give me a walk through:

- Very nice place so far, show room when u first walk in
- 15 stalls, each seperated by a wall of wood filled with rocks that prevent penetration from rifle rounds
- many camera viewing all lanes
- VERY nice ventilation system, takes up the entire perforated back wall
- dirt back drop
- 25 yards only

Can't wait to return later and throw some rounds down range. Looks very promissong so far.

Just got done shooting there. More info I just found out:

- rifle of any caliber
- any shot types for shotguns
- rapid fire ok!
- holster from strong side hip ok!

No explosive or metal piercing rounds

I asked them this question and they said no problem with Tula or Wolf. They sell it themselves. Which was good since I brought some Tula for my first visit.

Fox40 did a gun pro friendly segment of the new range last night on the news. Even the announcer seemed excited about the range opening.

Lead reloads are ok, they just dont allow armor piercing steel bullets and explosive ones
