Red Dot setup for Ruger NM Super Blackhawk
Greetings Calgunners,
I have a Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk 44 Magnum that was purchased used and took it out last weekend for the first time. I was impressed with the pistol. Found it to be far more accurate than I'm capable of shooting it. That said, I was able to hit silhouettes at 50 yards about 50% from a standing position (if I took my time).
My question is this: I was considering putting a red dot sight on it. Don't want to spend a ton of $ to do this. So, I'm looking for suggestions from others as to what they recommend or have done, and the type of shooting or hunting they participate in.
