This is worth a look - these guys got a bunch of old rusty junk guns, took them to a Chicago gun buy-back, made over $6,000, and used it to run some kid's firearm's training camps. Brilliant. Sorry if this is a dupe but I didn't see it anywhere else.

Definitely funny.

There was an FFL here in CA that did something similar and got a couple grand for old junk(forum member actually). Of course using the money to fund firearm training for kids is even more hilarious.

Yes. During the '90s they gave out cash but switched to gift cards after getting trolled.

I know of one CA FFL dealer in the '90s that would acquire Jennings J-22/J-25 pistols for $30 a piece and turn them in at gun buy backs for $100 a piece. He stopped when they switched to gift cards.
