    Question about shipping a shotgun

I will be going to New Jersey in July and my uncle is giving me a shotgun. I figure I'll do the PPT there since there's no waiting period (that I know of anyway).
or does the PPT need to be done here in CA since I am a resident here...gah laws are confusing
To ship it back here in CA, does it need to be sent to an FFL or can I ship it to my home or have it held at Fedex to be picked up?

    Thanks.

    Sorry, doesn't work.

You can't be a CA resident and buy/receive a gun out of state, unless you have C&R and it's a C&R gun.

Has to be shipped to a CA FFL and go through the interstate transfer fees, waiting period, and all the CA FFL things.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
