Awesome, just awesome! Oh yeah, that's a pretty stout AR you have there.

I'd rather spend time with my kids than spend money on them.I think they get more out of it and so do I.

No problem getting my son to go out and shoot, but the daughter, while she enjoys it, always seems too busy.
She is shooting a 10/22 I built for her, she likes purple...
We are all building AR's from 80%, they each (son and daughter) picked the graphics that are being engraved on them and will each machine their own.

I might risk a man card suspension of 30 days, but I thought I'd share the following tidbit.

Hot pink is REALLY trendy (at least with women in South Orange County) right now.

Lululemon refers to their hot pink as "Flash", though their light, bright pink is called "Light Flash".

That top she's wearing is close to a mixture of the two, just a bit duller in shade.

The "Define" jacket in their line in "light flash" is THE jacket to have right now.

Good luck finding it in a size 2 or 4, though the larger sizes usually stay in stock longer.

                ---

Now go drop that in a conversation somewhere within the next 2 weeks in a circle of trendy women...

                then walk away.

                ----

Glad to see you spending quality time with your kid. Whether she's toddling along or bringing your grandkids over to toddle along at your house, hug and love your kids like you did when they were little.

I'm jealous, I haven't been able to get my daughter to go shooting with me for several years. She is not acting like my spawn...vegetarian, liberal and anti-gun, it hurts to think about it.

I have a handgun class scheduled to take with my daughter at Oak Tree in a week. Got to get in some more quality Dad/Daughter time before her freshman year at college begins.

I spent much of this weekend driving around hunting for THAT stupid jacket because my wife and sister wanted matching jackets. My wife fell in love with the jacket the first time she saw it in the store, and then found out a friend had picked it up in the same color as well (they got them independently). She told my sister about it and they decided they HAD to have matching jackets. They are excited to go running in them with matching outfits. So the weekend was spent driving around shopping and jacket hunting. (calling the store would have been easier and more logical, but "That's no fun!")

We FINALLY found a size 4 at the Glendale store in the Americana yesterday afternoon, but then my sister decided last night that she preferred the looser fit of a 6 so she can layer under it if she wants, although the 4 admittedly fits and looks better on her.

So we had to drive to Pasadena this morning and trade the size 4 for a 6. She ultimately got the jacket she wanted this afternoon.

It's a bright pink hug from my wife and I to her every time she puts it on.

THAT is how I know all this. The jacket looks better in person than you would believe. AND it truly does make any woman wearing it look better. I don't know why. Especially the women that work at the store.

Drop by a Lululemon shop sometime. You might enjoy taking a look at all the different styles of yoga, running, and cycling wear they offer.

The service is best at the Irvine store according to my wife. South Coast and Newport are good as well.

She doesn't like the service at Pasadena and avoids the Glendale store because the people there are not very nice.

I prefer the OC stores myself as well. (Yes, I do own LLL clothing.)

perhaps the OP would like to take his daughter shopping for a new jacket
                          (sorry to threadjack)
