I went this morning. Miwall had two big trucks of ammo. I got 500 rounds of .45 acp reloads for $150 OTD.

Thanks Ammo Brothers and GlockStore for coming up to NorCal. They both had a good selection of handguns.

Place was packed. I was there for 3 hours and it wasn’t enough time.

Thanks to Miwall, Ammo Bros, Glockstore (with Lenny Magill himself), and everyone else who made the trek from outside the bay area.

Miwall was having issues bringing reloading powder across the Bay Bridge but they had everything else - from .50BMG primers to safes to the usual ammo and everything ammo related in between.

        $1 off here:

If you’re on the fence about going, i’d suggest going.

I'm normally a Del Mar (San Diego) show attendee and I was surprised at how empty this show was in comparison. I'm in the Bay Area visiting a buddy and we decided to head over for a few hours.

One good thing to see was lower ammo prices overall than previous shows and no lines at Miwall. I hope this trend lasts.

I wasn't able to attend today and will be there tomorrow. I'm surprised about the amount of people. The last few shows at the Cow Palace have had some of the largest crowds I've seen in recent years. Good to know about ammo prices.

It turned out to be a pretty good show. The place was packed with vendors and patrons when I got there at 11:00 today. I as really surprised to see Miwall not moving ammo the way they use to in the past. I guess everybodys closet is packed to the ceiling. As for Miwalls powder selection, It wasnt too good. The old guy selling the stuff was pissed because they screwed up and only loaded Win 231 on the pallets. He had a ton of the stuff. I said, well at least its a powder that you can use in a lot of different calibers. Like mentioned, there was a good turn out of vendors from So Cal....

I'm thinking on going tomorrow, what I would really like to pick up is some *good* 10mm ammo, not the 40 S&W stuff in 10mm clothing. Would they have that there, Ive never been?

When I was checking out I asked the guy about that and he mentioned it had to do with the Fire Marshal and transporting the powder over the Bay Bridge. I guess they are no longer able to do so the way they had previously. The exception was for the 231 that had to head farther south and cut over and that was so that they could have something vs. no powder @ all.

Compared to shows of this past year this is almost a ghost town. It could be that everyone showed up on Saturday. There's more ammo than what I've seen available as most vendors are usually sold out of certain calibers. Not this time.

Load-X is a great bunch of guys and I've been shooting their ammo trouble free for many years. They will custom load just about anything to your specifications, all you have to do is ask them.
