A little late, already pulled and turned over to the ATF.
Guy had no idea what he had.

I hope thats a fake fun switch on the top right part of the receiver.

Wish my Springfield Scout had one.

But then again I guess its better it does not because I don't wanna be afraid of dropping the soap in the shower.

Well, it's always possible that it WAS one of the 40-ish M14's that legally are in civvy hands... but they'd go for a HUGE $$$. If, by chance, it was a legally owned M14, all that happened by turning it in was to increase the value of the remaining legal M14's. Whomever gave it to that pawnbroker either didn't know what he/she had... or stole it... Either way... oops!

          sartoriguns feedback for toughy:
A+: Gun had to be turned over to ATF as it was a full auto. Too bad it was a nice gun. A plus for understanding.

          toughy feedback for sartoriguns:
          A+: I DIDN'T BUY Rifle!But good communitions,maybe I will buy something else sometime.

It is truly a shame that had to happen. I only hope with that it was turned over to our armed forces and put to good use. Now I guess some lucky angency will have some fun.

How is their shop? I remember emailing them and asking if they would sell guns in CA and they told me no. Now I see their description saying they will if the gun is on the CA DOJ roster.

Funny, they had a Ruger folder on another auction.

it was a run of the mill pawn shop- a few old shotguns on the wall, guitars, tools, cameras, jewelry, and an m14.

I hope ATF doesn't simply destroy it. If it proved to be the rare real McCoy, and not a weld job (it looked really clean) then it should be preserved, protected, and deposited into a US national firearms museum or the NRA firearm museum. It's history and educational, and should be conserved.
