Make them more abstract. Less actual gun silohettes and more things that you'd have to be a gunny to know. Look at EnthusiastApparel.com for ideas of abstract things they've done with cars.

We the people shirt is cool but it would be better on the back. Don't tread on me shirt has the right idea but the lettering gots to go. It mixes gangster with guns. Not a good idea

Hey fellow Calgunners!
I've been thinking of starting a t-shirt line(maybe hoodies) made up of Pro Gun and Liberty inspired designs.

I'm currently working on different designs and styles as I understand certain styles arent for everyone, but Liberty resonates with all. Because who doesn't wanna be free right!?!?
I guess I'm just looking for all feedback, positive or negative...Thanks Calguns!

That particular design is going to be illegable at modest distance. You need to be careful when handling ornate, embellished typograhy. In this case, the black text of the opening words to the preamble put on the dark-grey sillhoutte of the AR is very hard to read. Squint your eyes a bit and it looks like a rifle wrapped in barb-wire.

Agreed, higher quality shirts would be a plus. Pre-shrunk, perhaps available in both a fitted and traditional sizes. Perhaps American Apparel?

I find I get far more comments when the design is on the back. I think people are hesitant to stare at your chest trying to figure out what it says.


And I like the smaller follow-up: web-site, company name, etc., on the front, upper left.

2nd design definitely beats the 1st, but I agree with the others regarding something a little more incognito. I do like the idea of no one knowing what it's referring to unless they're decently knowledgeable about guns or black rifles.
