I am skeptical. Norinco could not possibly be American owned. Norinco is the Communist state's manufacturing conglomerate that makes everything from tanks, cars, guns, ammo, artillery, and household items. There ain't no way us Americans could own that company - it wasn't for sale, it probably won't be for sale, and we sure as hell didn't buy it.

Well, think about it. Is Norinco-USA doing anything different then what Russian American Amory is doing with their Russian made Saiga rifles? I dont think so. And Im guessing they just import their parts and assemble them here.

I have heard of a rash of undocumented American Boat People showing up in China looking for work.

I don't see how it can happen,

              Against:
              1. Dems: antis
              2. US firearm mfg: competition
              3. Pro-gun politicians sponsered by 2.
              4. 1/2 of gun owners: no commi crap, period (non-WalMart shopper type)

              For:
              1. the other 1/2 of gun owners(the WalMart shopper type)

I did think about it. I think Russia needs the money. I don't think China needs the money. They are such an up-and-coming economy, it is scary. I don't see why they'd need to export firearms for civilian sale in the US - they sell so much other crap here, it's amazing. When's the last time you used a Russian made plastic comb? Dish? Glass? Shirt? Towel?

I really don't think your comparison is analagous.

+1. The only thing that I can think is that they are opening up a US based company as a distributor of the Norinco products.

Well, anyways... judging by their website, they are here. They are doing the same thing HK, SigARMS, Rock Island, and other out of country firearms companys do...not to difficult to comprehend that is it. Seriously, what other country allows their citizens to buy rifles like America...we are the real gun market of the world. Wont belong until we see more M14s in America. I hope SAI decides to drop their prices.

Well, there not enough of them to go around, thats the problem. So the prices have gone through the roof. These newly produced Norinco M14s do not have bolt hardness issues either.

Yay, more imported Chinese knock-off s--t. Oh wait, I own a couple of Norincos, a MAK-90 and SKS Paratrooper. Only problem I see is it will devalue my 100rd drum if they start importing those again.
