Here is a snipit of a conversation I had with an art major:

ME: "I don't really like contemporary art because it just seems like splatters that I could do."

HER: "Yes, but the art is that you didn't do it and they did."

ME: "I didn't do it because it is stupid."

      HER: "....??. Oh."

Reminds me of the brits whom in their national arms and armor museum have an exhibit which is anti arms and armor (peace - farewell to arms)

Opening times, bookings, collection highlights and other useful information for visitors to the Royal Armouries, Leeds, West Yorkshire

That's one rusty chair, and a waste of AK parts.

Kinda reminds me of, "he who trades his sword for a plowshare will do the plowing for those who didn't".

            CBruce..
I also find it infuriating from a civil rights perspective...to see an artist exercise his 1st amendment rights to crow about society's attempt to quell our 2nd amendment rights.
            Amen to that!

The only worthwhile pieces of art I've ever seen using guns/parts are the escopetarras.

What would be funny is to have someone buy one of his pieces and restore at least one workable firearm out of it. Then send him a thank you card.

So the taxpayers money is spent in gun buy back programs, then the guns are GIVEN to an artist to mangle and make a profit?

Better yet - the taxpayer money is paid for the "art" he produced
