Outdoor ranges

I am not sure of where to put this so I am going to put it in a couple of places.
I am moving to Modesto in about 5 days. I have been looking for a pistol range and have found two. One is on Yosimite drive and it has gotten so BAD reviews. There is another called BarnWood that has gotten great reviews. I think i'll go to that one.
I am also looking for an outdoor Rifle range. I have a few High power hunting rifles and would like to find a range in the Modesto area (50 miles) that has a 200+ yard range. Does anyone have any ideas or know of an area to go. I am not against BLM land either as long as it is legal to shoot.

Here in Orange County, CA where I currently live if you try to shoot in the forest or BLM land yopu get to go to jail. The only outdoor rifle and shotgun range around here is Lytle Creek. It would be nice to find something like that up there.

There is a 100 yard outdoor range in manteca. I believe it is called manteca sportsmans club. Or something like that. If you are going to be on the west side of modesto manteca is only 15 minutes away. It is a nice range, good people.

That range on Yosemite has been closed for a while. Selling automatic weapons to atf agents posing as felons and illegals can do that. You will learn that nothing good happens on Yosemite blvd. Welcome to Methdesto by the way.

The question that needs to be asked is why on earth would you move to Modesto?

Linden has A range with several bays, including a 200 yard rifle range. ~40 minutes from Modesto ,

I've been to the one in Manteca. 15 bucks for the whole day, you can shoot steel cased rounds and no one cares. They have a lot of activities during the summer
