G20 Range Report

Finally got around to buying the G20 today. I'm at a loss for words with this gun. It is INCREDIBLE!!! A little hand canon! The gun is very easy to shoot and it handles the recoil very well. It's a lot like a Glock 45 cal (push not snappy recoil). I was shooting hot 10mm loads not weak 40cal loads and it was a blast to shoot. I shot various grains of ammo: all Underwood ammo- 135gr JHP @1600 fps, 180gr TMJ @1300 fps, 200gr TMJ @1250 fps, and 200gr xtp JHP @1250 fps. All rounds functioned flawlessly. I also have BB 220gr that I will fire next time, maybe this weekend....

I am very impressed with this gun to say the least! If you're thinking of getting this little hand canon, I'd highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed!

yup i have a g20 sf version and i fired various hot load 10mm. i believe it annoys people at indoor ranges lol.

As crazy as it sounds I prefer the 29. The 20 is nice to go back to every once in a while.

10MM is my favorite caliber these days. I can reload for .40 caliber plinking fun or zippy hot stuff to take down 1964 Chevys. Reloading 10MM opens a big world of 'can do' with this round. Love them Glocks in 10MM.

Stupid Question: A 10mm handgun will fire .40S&W ammo?

I know almost nothing about 10mm (obviously) but am trading away a Sig in .40 and have quite a few thousand rounds of ammo left. I've been thinking about getting a G20 or 29 and am just curious.

Yes, the Glock 20 and 29 will shoot .40 with simply a conversion barrel swap. You can get one for under $130 from Lone Wolf Distributors. You can use the factory mags too.

I got my G20 from Irvington. They can get you one! I love mInes and will be adding a G29 soon. Shot some Buffalo Bore out of it and boy it's a whole new ball game compared to the WWB.
