Building my first AR-10 out of a TM Lower - Questions

    Hi Guys,
I will be completing my 80% lower this weekend and want could use some advise.

I am looking to use the MagPul UBR stock for this build, what is the best buffer kit that I can get?

Also, best lower parts kits that I can use on my Tactical Machine lower?

    Much appreciate it!

If it's an AR10 get an Armalite lower parts kit.

dont do what i did, the dpms lpk comes with their proprietary bolt catch threaded pin which does not work in a tm10 lower. I tried to make it work and messed up the threads a bit. (i was able to chase them an repair the damage) your tm10 lower needs a special 2 piece floating pin/set screw arrangment to hold the bolt catch in. (assuming the tm10 80% er is built like the 100%. The tm10 s are supposed to ship with the special bolt catch pin taped to the inside. mine was missing and there were no instructions to refer to.

If your missing the little pin and screw, call TM. They sent me another set. I used the DPMS lower kits on three 308 builds. No problems.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
