I leave feedback right after I receive payment and ship the item out or vice versa. I would say maybe 70% of the people leave it in return.

If everyone adopted this approach I think we would have a lot of Hombre Stalemates...

Once the buyer hands money to the seller, the seller should leave positive(?) feedback, because he received everything he asked for.

The Buyer doesn't know he got what he paid for until he has time to inspect/test the merchandise until some time later. After he is satisfied he got (or did not get) what he paid for, this is when I leave feedback.

I've made 4 transactions through the market place this month as a seller, and after receiving payment I left feedback immediately after receiving my money. I had to request through PM that the buyers leave feedback, because none left feedback right away. 2 out of the 4 have left feedback.

It's not exactly the smoothest operating system. It's a little tricky to figure out how to navigate the iTrader menus. I had a guy ask me how to do it, and I linked him to my iTrader page and also included a link to the sale thread. I made it easy, but I still didn't get feedback. Oh well.

with that said , personally i can care less about "itrader" it really doest mean all that much anyone can make up sock puppet accts and make a itrader #'s look great and still be a scammer, still waiting to hear what happen with the ammo sale with the last dude i saw do that here...

dont spend more on a online forum then you are willing to lose a itrader rating will not save you from anything .....

can i ask why ? if the buyer is not satisfied what baring does it have on the seller leaving feedback on payment as its the only thing the seller has to comment on in the sale ...

just my opinion but most sellers use the itrader incorrectly and should leave feedback when payment is received and not wait "in case they have a issue" as that has no baring on the sellers feedback on payment from the buyer ....

As a buyer, I will leave feedback once I receive the item, inspect it, and am satisifed with the transaction.

I'm another one that has WAY more transactions than my feedback is reflective of.

IMO, since buyers can be extremely unreasonable sometimes, simply receiving the payment does not warrant leaving feedback indicative of a positive transaction, and receiving the payment does not mean that the transaction has concluded.

I do understand your point, though. Unfortunately, it isn't quite that simple.

and this is why itrader means nothing its more of a extortion tool at times "you leave me neg feedback i will do the same" sortof thing kinda like the way fleebay went

sellers only feedback they should ever leave has to do with payment nothing else ....

I leave feedback immediately as a seller and upon receipt as a buyer. Shouldn't be different unless you're a lazy SOB.

The whole feedback thing tends to be very irritating to me. As a seller I give positive feedback as soon as the item is paid for. In these types of transactions the buyer has to be the one "trusting" his/hers items will be promptly shipped after they are paid. Of course once I receive payment then I am satisfied and ship the item ASAP Leave them Pos and let them know there item is in transit. I would hope that the feedback will be reciprocated as soon as it arrives. It bothers me to remind them to leave me feedback. But if I have to I will. I just like to feel the transaction is over the customer was happy and we can all move on.
