AR-15/M4 Geissele Trigger SSA or SDC

Which trigger would you go with. At botachtactical.com the SSA goes for $170 and the SDC for $210. The specs are the same, only thing different is the trigger shapes.

The SDC specs say flatter trigger bow gives enhanced control and lighter perceived weight. Perceived, hummmm!!!

I have the DMR on my Noveske and it's badass! Gotta love their triggers!

They are very similar, measured pull wt is basically identical.

The straight vertical trigger face is something that you need to get used to... that's basically it.... and sometimes truely based on personal preference... personally, I like the traditional curved trigger face...

Their "super 3 gun" trigger is indeed superb tho.

Anyhow, you cannot go wrong with any Geissele......

SSA is super popular, and probably one of their most SOLD triggers, there must be a reason....

I run 2x SSA's in my ARs and love them. It is also our #1 seller for AR triggers.

Also have tried the DMR & SSA-E and both are awesome.

The flat trigger shape is definitely something you need to get used to.

I have 2 DMR's in my precision AR's and they are great 2-stage triggers. I like how they are adjustable. I will always run Geissele triggers for my precision guns.

Go through Allied Armory, they have great service and prices!

I run SDs in all my guns now, but the SSA is equally good.

With the flat bow of the SD, you can run your finger lower down on the trigger face (closer to the guard) and it does feel like it lightens the pull. Call it what you want (more leverage?), but that's essentially what Bill Geissele is describing.

I've adjusted my trigger technique/gotten used to the SD style now and love it, but you won't go wrong with either choice.

Now I am thinking of getting the Super 3-Gun for my M4, but what to get for my Rock River Arms National Match?

I put a SSA on my Spikes Tactical and it is simply outstanding! Bill's website has instructional videos for installation.

For real .^. Like oiled boobies smooth. Seemed like just thinking the word fire would release the hammer . I tried one in a Daniel Defense at Sac Black Rifle, changed my whole perception of what a trigger should be like.
