just missed a free gun

i have a auto repair shop, i have been tempted to have a little sign stating i collect guns. i feel it might not go over well with some people that use my shop. today a guy that has been coming to me for over 10 years said he was getting old and his wife asked him to get rid of his single shot rifle. it had only been fired 4 times. he took it to the police to get rid of it. DAM

i would love to. i have real old timers that must have some jems. the other day a old cust told me about a old army rifle he has . i think it is a old trap door rifle. you could tell he would never sell or use it. i told him if he ever needed repairs that he could not pay for i would take the gun for payment.
