Ahh how would he know ?

I’m just throwing this out there.
How does 1 become an expert in self defense, when that person has never been in a self defense situation, never been shot at, and questions a shooting were the bg was not hit by that round ?

I would not question a self defense round, when the bg was not even hit by that 5.7x28 bullet.

I would guess that looking at a lot of sd video, or speaking to people that actually had to press that trigger - might make someone a bit more informed - but an “ expert “ ready to pass judgement / describe what is best ?

Sounds kinda 🤔 strange. I have to run, but I’ll check back to hear what members think on the subject.

That chick is kind of annoying. We already know that the 5.7x28 round is very effective as shown at Fort Hood. However, her point about longer range accuracy of a suppressed subsonic round is probably valid.

He does get a bit overly dramatic.
Yes probably could have chosen a 5.7 round that was more versatile.

A lot of the "experts" have to be taken with a shaker of salt to get through some of their videos. Most are just way too serious for someone who has never been anywhere near an actual SD situation.

The 5.7 in it's pistol form has never been on my list. Now I did get a chance to fire a suppressed P90 way back when, and that might make the list, somewhere after an MP5SD and a few others. But realistically that ain't going to happen unless somehow I win the lotto.
